Lynn Saligman League of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

Lynn Saligman League is one of the many organizations raising funds for The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The group is currently 145 members strong, living in all areas of Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs. This organization has been in existence 50 years, and was founded by a few young girls on the Main Line in memory of a very dear friend. Through the years we have grown into one of the hospital's most important groups for raising funds. We are very proud of the work that has been accomplished, but must count on support from our communities and membership to continue to raise monies. The members keep busy running golf tournaments, bowling evenings, salon and spa events and many other wonderful functions through the year. We are now planning several family fun nights to encourage our young members to be involved with CHOP, and have recently contributed funds to The Reach Out and Read Program to give books to underprivileged children. Happiness & Memorial cards are also available for purchase through this organization. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia has once again been honored with the prestigious rank of the number 1 hospital for children in the US. It is a pleasure and a privilege to be associated with such a fine establishment.
